Lost 800EU?!? Ouch!!!

I'll have to find out what the total costs are first if I go to San Diego (as well as the # of remaining vacation days I have ;). But I certainly would like to go--last year's in LV was worth it for me.

No, it is/was *NOT* a lost. Can be a sort of donation (I've already donated to the ASF, too -- US$1,000 -- via paypal) .

I agree that donating via a conference registration is a good way to contribute--because you also get something nice out of it. That was my rationale in attending the last conference--I have a lot of fun, learn a lot, and the $$$ goes to a good cause.

Still, you seem to be spending lots of money lately, which is not a good sign. Take care of yourself!
